Bridal Mask (2012) is a television drama based on the story set in the 1930s, featuring a hero named Lee Kang To (Joo Won) who possesses martial arts skills and fights against the Japanese during the Japanese colonial period. He is also known as "Bridal Mask" because he always wears a mask to conceal his identity. Gaksital is one of the traditional masks specifically reserved for brides. Despite his unremarkable appearance, Lee Kang To is actively involved in the independence movement against the Japanese imperial regime during the darkest period of Korean history.
