Min DoHee plays the role of Kang DaMi, a high school senior who may not have many talents but has a strong desire to do many things. She is an enthusiastic speaker who can answer more than ten questions when her teacher only asks one. However, when her mother says "No, you can't do that," she becomes stubborn and wants to do things her own way, even if it means getting hit by her mother. She wants to achieve independence from her mother and decides that her goal is to attend a university in Seoul. Since making this decision, she has been struggling with her mother even more.

Jang YoungNam portrays Song YoungJu, DaMi's mother. She is dissatisfied with her daughter's lack of practical concerns. Despite being in her final year of high school, her daughter is always daydreaming and telling lies. YoungJu often intentionally inflicts wounds on her daughter because she believes in strict measures rather than emotional understanding.

RyeoUn plays the role of Yoon SungHyun, DaMi's only male friend whom she can express all her emotions to. This is thanks to his countless compliments and empathy. He has had a one-sided love for her since their second year of high school.

Jin YeJu portrays Lee HaRim, DaMi's best friend who comes up with solutions rather than meaningless empathy. She has a logical and practical personality.
